I found a problem : it does not recognize a reader for pdf. Neither the one included in the Mac (preview) nor Acrobat reader.

I'm aware of this and working on it. I may have to include a 'Windows' PDF viewer in the application bundle. I really wanted it to open PDFs in the default OS X PDF viewer but this proved problematic.

I'll look at Print Centre later. In fact, I doubt that printing works at all. Other stuff is probably broken as well such as sending via e-mail.

Please have a good play and post back here with any problems you discover. If they are not obvious, please detail the steps to reproduce.

Really a good job! When is it going to be "official"?

This is nothing at all to do with the SD team - it's something I've done in my spare time.

What is strange is that I have Adobe Acrobate Reader on my Mac, and it does not work. Anyway, it is great what you manage to do on your spare time!

Personally, I think the built-in Apple Preview.app is better than Adobe Reader so I've been focussing on getting that working. It's also available on all systems. I'll let you know when I've cracked it.

I just tested again and the Print Centre seems to work properly now.

That's good to know.

I've got PDF viewing working now as well - they open in whatever your default Mac PDF viewer is.

I'm working on some other bits so won't update the build on my Google Drive just yet.

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know, I've updated this to the latest version (3.1.0) and PDFs now open correctly using your default PDF viewer.

To install (or upgrade), just open the DMG file and drag the SkyDemon icon into your Applications folder. Please note that it will not work if you try and execute it directly from the DMG file.

Print Centre works fine as well. Please note that your printer must be present and working before launching SD. Just check it's visible in System Preferences > Printers and Scanners first.

This has been tested on Mavericks and Yosemite, but should work just fine on earlier OS X versions.

Regards,

Steve
